Pine Banks Park : Pine Banks Park is a hidden gem consisting of walking trails, ponds, cliffs, picninc and play facilities, parks and lots of trees.

Per Wikipedia:
Pine Banks is a 107.5-acre (0.435 km2) park located in the cities of Malden and Melrose, Massachusetts. It was donated by former Mayor of Malden Elisha S. Converse to be used "forever as a public park". The agreement was that both towns had equal ownership, responsibility, and power, which is still the case today; the non–profit Board of Trustees owns the park, with equal representation from both cities.

The area was once inhabited by the Wampanoag Native American tribe. It was later the home of the Lynde family in the early 1700s, and then became the public park that it is today.

Bird Park, Walpole, MA : Francis William Bird Park is an 89-acre landscaped park created and endowed in 1925 by Charles Sumner Bird, Sr. and his wife Anna in memory of their eldest son, Francis William Bird (1881-1918). Arnold Arboretum, May, 2009 : "The Arnold Arboretum was established in 1872 when the trustees of the will of James Arnold (1781-1868), a whaling merchant of New Bedford, Massachusetts, transferred a portion of Arnold's estate to the President and Fellows of Harvard College. The Arboretum occupies 265 acres (107 hectares) of land in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston, and is a key link in the Emerald Necklace, a 7-mile-long network of parks and parkways that civic visionary Frederick Law Olmsted laid out for the Boston Parks Department between 1878 and 1896."
