"Nothing is so often irretrievably missed as a daily opportunity". ~Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach
------------------------------------------------SmugMug's DailyPhotos Community is a wonderful group of talented and friendly photographers, whom I first met during my "30 Days Hath September" jaunt http://bit.ly/2i0Cxn. That experience has inspired me to keep shooting every day and to improve my photographic skills. This gallery is of photos I will be taking and posting each day, unless time is against me, when I'll be posting a recently taken image. Comments welcome!

An unsettling perspective
I liked this image a lot, but the angle conjures up thoughts I'd rather not have...

Note - sorry about the overabundance of foliage shots. I promise I'll stop soon. It's just that with winter approaching, all the colors will depart and we'll be living in a B&W world. Carpe diem!

this is a great angle . . . . . too bad you couldnt stick a silhouette of a hand holding up a slab just in front of the lens . . . . .. maybe you should go back and do it again . . . . . love those old cemeteries in the northeast . . . . so much character!

This is the shot. The colors are so rich and pop so hard. Killer work.

I love your foliage shots Ed. Don't stop. This shot is kind of cool, the way the one headstone is crooked. Must be a rather old cemetery.

I really like the framing with the foliage -- beautiful colors and light. I'll take all the foliage shots you want to share -- I'm not looking forward to winter myself. :-)

Wonderful shot and perspective. I too have been doing a lot of fall foliage, and I'm with you--carpe diem.
