St. Joseph
2/15/2010
I was driving home, past St. Joseph's Cemetery when the setting sun behind this statue caught my eye, so I had to stop. Another view can be seen here: http://bit.ly/b8Qc6k. Which do you think is the better image?

on April 16, 2010I really like this one because the statue looks like a real person and the sunset is wonderful.

on April 16, 2010That is a tough decision -- both are lovely in their own ways. I like this one because of that lovely tone and silhouette. Both are very interesting in their own right though.

on April 15, 2010I really like the light and composition in both shots; The other may be my favorite, simply because we see so many nice sunsets on smugmug and I like the warm tones of the light hitting the statue in the other shot. In this shot, it doesn't even look like a statue, which is nice, but of a person just standing there for some reason...perhaps, to enjoy the sunset.
